Measure the work that gets done.
Start with a baseline and a result your team can check. Software delivery and recurring operations need different acceptance measures.
Software delivery
Review the change, its tests and its review evidence before your team approves a release. Track request-to-accepted-change time, reviewer effort, rework and execution cost. A merged pull request and a production release are different events.
Operational work
Verify the expected action happened in the connected system. Track completed jobs, exceptions, corrections and human handling time. Include review and escalation when comparing against the baseline.
Cost and repeatability
Assess setup effort, ongoing execution cost, support and the value of completed work. Agree which cases are eligible and compare like-for-like jobs. Expansion follows results from the first scope.
Improvement with review
Use observed results and team feedback to propose a change to the agents, instructions or operating plan. Review and test the proposal before activation, then measure its effect on future work.
